Census 2010 was having a training presentation to the Haitian Community on this Friday, October 16, 2009. The Event was very informative. Some of the Haitian Businness partners were there. They received documentation at this seminar and a lot of information to get them better involve with the Census 2010. Hope that more and more business people can commit to make this project work for our community and become a big succes for us. Sakapfet Orlando will let you know , when the next events. Will it be Possible to have a United Haitian Press in Orlando? Sunday afternoon by 4h30 , the Haitian Press of Orlando has been invited by Mr Landry Menard "Director Regional" of "TELE ANACAONA". After Mr Rodney Jn Jacques ,Director of Marketing started the introduction of the main lines, the meeting started where Mr Menard presented all the fact of his point of view for a true collaboration with the Haitian Media of Orlando.The meeting went very well and full of objectivity. We wish a good luck to the brand new TV Anacaona and a successful life in the show-business.

Haitian Presidential candidate Michel Martelly's visit to the "Kore Yo" organization in Tampa Bay, Florida. The hopeful candidate had been cordially invited by Radius Advertising. The event brought together more than 300 people from all walks of life throughout the entire Central Florida area. Present at the event were Radio Universal, Tele Anacaona, Radio Classique, Sakapfetorlando.com from Orlando, Radio Lumiere and Radio Mango from Tampa, as well as some American TV Stations from the area. Mr Martelly declared his visit a social one, rather than a part of his political campaign. Still, he graciously outlined some points of his political vision where it concerned the social role he wished the Haitian Community in the US would play. Mr Céant a répondu a plusieurs questions sur la situation actuelle de la scene politique en Haiti. Il a parle en details de son plan d'adaptation pour une nouvelle mentalité de la conception negative preconcu de l'Haitien qui pourrait aider a un changement eventuelle vers l'elargissement des cadres internes de la nation. Sur differents volets, Mr Céant a etablit une determination de se consacrer pour la bonne marche de son gouvernement qui totalement donnera un rapport de transparence a la communaute locale et internationale. Nous vous presentons quelques clichés prises lors de cette reunion, ici a Orlando, qui à eu lieu a l'Hotel Holliday Inn au Kirman Road.
